Foreign Affairs resumes work

The Foreign Affairs Office of Malbekistan resumed its work that Friday, finalizing a mutual recognition agreement with the Empire of Einesraum and a unilateral recognition to the Holy Empire of Reunion.

Foreign Affairs is already working on the recognition of other Anglophone micronations and the establishment of new diplomatic agreements.

The unilateral recognition of the Holy Empire of Reunion was, according to sources in the Imperial Palace, much more in recognition of the micronational history of the Emperor in that country than for any other reason. According to the same source, “not recognizing Reunion would be the same as denying the Emperor’s own history, even if he has reservations about the direction that micronation is taking”.
